Deloitte

Deloitte is a British multinational professional services firm based in London, England.
History
On November 7, 2012, it was revealed that Deloitte had agreed to purchase Monitor Group.[1]
Deloitte participated in the inaugural ID2020 summit in May 2016 at the United Nations headquarters in New York.[2]
COVID-19
On August 6, 2020, Deloitte received a $4,730,000 grant from the Government of Canada through the Global Innovation Clusters for a project called "Rapid Assessment of Disability Claims During and Post COVID-19." Project partners included Owl Labs, RBC Insurance (RBCI), Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) and Labarge Weinstein.[3]
On October 26, 2020, the House of Commons of Canada adopted a motion to instruct the Standing Committee on Health to undertake a study of the COVID-19 pandemic response in Canada. This included disclosure of many documents from across multiple agencies of government.[4] On October 29-30, 2020, Deputy Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Simon Kennedy consulted with "a few trusted and very senior colleagues in the private sector" to determine how to manage Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's response to the motion, including representatives of Deloitte.[5]
Deloitte was hired by the Government of the State of New York to work on the development of the Excelsior Pass, a vaccine passport program introduced following the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic. Collaborators on the project included the Boston Consulting Group and IBM.[6]
Deloitte was a "ribbon partner" for the One Young World 2022 Manchester Summit, which took place September 5-8, 2022 in Manchester, England.[7][8]
A team from Deloitte Consulting was responsible for putting together a plan for the amalgamation of British Columbia's health regulatory colleges under the Health Professions and Occupations Act, to be presented in fall 2023.[9]
