The Centre for Law and Democracy (CLD) is a Canadian not-for-profit corporation based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
History
CLD joined "more than 300 human rights leaders and organizations from across Canada" in endorsing a "call for human rights oversight of government responses to the COVID-19 pandemic." It was published by British Columbia's Office of the Human Rights Commissioner as an open letter on April 15, 2020.[1]
