Rumble is an online video platform based in Longboat Key, Florida.[1]
History
On October 26, 2021, Rumble announced that it had acquired Locals.[2]
Rumble became a publicly-traded company through an initial public offering on September 19, 2022.[3]
In November 2022, Rumble announced it was disabling access to its platform in France after the Government of France demanded Rumble censor certain Russian news sources.[4] Later that month, Rumble filed a lawsuit challenging the legality of the French government's censorship demands.[5]
On February 5, 2024, Vigilant News Network announced that Rumble had entered "a major partnership" with 1775 Coffee.[6]
On July 15, 2024, Rumble announced the launch of three new exclusive brands including Pawsitive, 5G Free and Be Naked.[7]
On October 3, 2025, Rumble announced a partnership with Perplexity to integrate its artificial intelligence-powered search engine into the video sharing platform.[8]
On October 15, 2025, a French court ruled that a French government official's email demanding Rumble censor certain content held no legal authority, leading Rumble to restore access to French users.[9]
