Fulgent Genetics is an American biotechnology research company based in El Monte, California. It is the successor to Fulgent Therapeutics.[1]

History

Fulgent co-sponsored the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors Annual Conference 2015.[2]

COVID-19

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for Fulgent's COVID-19 RT-PCR testing services on June 11, 2021.[3] The EUA also authorized Fulgent to process genetic samples collected using at-home test kits marketed by Picture Genetics[4] and Everlywell.[5]
