Biologic and Radiopharmaceutical Drugs Directorate

The Biologic and Radiopharmaceutical Drugs Directorate (BRDD), previously known as the Biologics and Genetic Therapies Directorate (BGTD), is a Canadian regulatory directorate based in Ottawa, Ontario. It is a subsidiary of the Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB) of Health Canada.[1]

History

In early 2020, the Biologics and Genetic Therapies Directorate changed its name to the Biologic and Radiopharmaceutical Drugs Directorate.[2]
