United Nations

The United Nations is a global supra-governmental organization based in New York City.

History

On June 13, 2019, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (WEF) signed a “Strategic Partnership Framework outlining areas of cooperation to deepen institutional engagement and jointly accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.”[1]

Organization

The UN is organized through the United Nations System, which includes its six principal bodies, specialized agencies and related organizations.[2]
