Tirah Ciampa is an Australian model based in Hobart, Tasmania.
History
Starting in November 2022, Ciampa began frequent visits with doctors to determine the cause of abdominal pain she had been suffering for the prior year. Ciampa explained that "her heart rate would spike and she would suffer cramps randomly."[1]
A cardiologist kept Ciampa under supervision. In February 2023, she underwent an ultrasound which uncovered "a 15 x 15cm tumour inside her pancreas, which had already consumed half the organ." She underwent a "painstaking seven-hour surgery to remove it."
According to Ciampa, she will never be able to drink alcohol or play sports again "due to a permanent clot in her spleen."[2]
