Strokes are a known adverse event following receipt of a COVID-19 vaccine.[1]
History
On October 24, 2023, the New York Times reported that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine "may be linked to a slight increase in the risk of stroke when administered along with a high-dose flu vaccine," based on a new analysis by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).[2][3]
