Olivia Quan was a Canadian recording engineer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She worked as a producer and engineer at Monarch Studios.[1] She died suddenly of a brain bleed on July 1, 2022 at age 25.[2]
COVID-19
Quan's employer, Monarch Studios, publicly disclosed that as of at least December 7, 2021, all of their audio engineers and interns had "been double-vaccinated for COVID-19."[3]
Quan died suddenly on July 1, 2022 while working on her laptop in bed at home. Monarch Studios announced her death on July 4, 2022 on Instagram.[4][5] It was revealed shortly after that she died of a brain bleed, which Monarch described as being of "natural causes."[2:1] In their statement, Monarch said they took comfort in the fact that they were "told she most likely lost consciousness immediately and died without prolonged discomfort."[5:1]
Quan is included in Edward Dowd's book, "Cause Unknown": The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 & 2022 as one of thousands of young adults who died in sudden and abnormal ways after the worldwide rollout of COVID-19 vaccines.[6] She was also included in a similar list in Forbidden Facts: Government Deceit & Suppression about Brain Damage from Childhood Vaccines by Gavin de Becker, published in September 2025.[7]
