COVID-19

On June 30, 2021, Sheeran performed a version of his song "Shape of You" with James Corden to promote COVID-19 vaccines. He specifically mentions both Pfizer and Moderna, asserting that people would be protected two weeks after their second dose.[1]

On October 24, 2021, Sheeran claimed to have tested positive for COVID-19.[2] Sheeran told Howard Stern during a November 5, 2021 appearance on Stern's show that he was previously "vaccinated."[3][4][5]

On March 1, 2023, Sheeran revealed that his wife Cherry Seaborn had been diagnosed with cancer while she was pregnant with their second child.[6]

On July 8, 2023, Sheeran performed at the Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 17 people were hospitalized during the event, including two heart attacks, a seizure, "some falls" and "heat-related issues."[7]
