Don Davies is a Canadian politician serving as Member of Parliament for the Vancouver Kingsway riding. He is a member of the New Democratic Party (NDP).
COVID-19
On June 2, 2023, Davies sponsored a petition to the House of Commons of Canada initiated by Justin Singer to provide substantial funding for next-generation COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics, update and enforce air quality standards in public buildings, institute mandatory paid sick leave, reinstate mask mandates in all indoor public spaces, "implement a permanent, nation-wide vaccine campaign in order to counteract the influence of anti-vaccine misinformation and habituate the public toward stay up-to-date of COVID-19 vaccines," and coordinate a "final push" with allied foreign governments.[1]
