The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) is a Government of Canada agency based in Hamilton, Ontario.

History

In its guidance for employers dated March 8, 2022, CCOHS stated that "unvaccinated people are more likely to become sick with COVID-19, experience serious medical outcomes, and spread the disease to others," and advised employers to "increase the percentage of the population who are vaccinated against COVID-19" by "provid[ing] support for workers to receive the vaccine (e.g., time off for appointments), and follow[ing] regional mandatory vaccination policies (e.g., vaccine passports)."[1]
