PeepMe

PeepMe is an American adult entertainment service run by WRP Network. It serves as a content creation platform for sex workers. It was co-founded by Jessica Rae Owen, Donia Love and Fabrienne Serignese.

History

According to co-founder and president Jessica Rae Owen, PeepMe began when Donia Love approached Owen with "an idea she had for a platform."[1]

On August 3, 2020, WRP Network LLC filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to trademark the term "PeepMe," related to "an ongoing multimedia program featuring adult-themed entertainment," including "providing a website featuring non-downloadable adult-themed images, videos and movies" and "distribution of videos in the field of adult entertainment." The application was filed by trademark lawyer Emily Haas of Michael Best & Friedrich.[2] The company also purchased the domain name "www.peep.me" for its website.[3]

On November 17, 2020, WRP filed a petition for cancellation with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board against Peepme LLC, the current holder of the "PeepMe" trademark, arguing their trademark was abandoned due to lack of use. WRP was represented by Haas and Jolly Northrop, both of Michael Best & Friedrich.[3:1]

WRP's trademark application for "PeepMe" was declared abandoned by the USPTO on March 27, 2023.[2:1]
