# Wikispooks

**Wikispooks** is an online encyclopedia focused on deep politics, made available online in open-source and open-licensed format. As of July 28, 2022, the website has 807 registered editors.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## History

Wikispooks was founded in May 2010 by businessman Peter Presland, with the website hosted in the Irish Republic.[\[2\]](#fn2)

Presland retired from running Wikispooks in 2020, with a long-time contributor named Robin taking over administrative duties.[\[3\]](#fn3)

In March 2023, Robin added an experimental feature that integrates [Campfire Wiki](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Campfire-Wiki) links to Wikispooks pages.[\[4\]](#fn4)
