The **University of Southern California (USC)** is an American private research university based in Los Angeles, California.

## COVID-19

In 2020 and 2021, USC required students and staff to use the USC Trojan-Check app in order to access campus. This involved completing daily "symptom checks", and in 2021, providing "proof of vaccination" with [COVID-19 vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine) as a vaccine passport.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## Organization

USC is a member of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO)[\[2\]](#fn2) and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health.[\[3\]](#fn3) It is a partner of the [National COVID Cohort Collaborative](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/National-COVID-Cohort-Collaborative)[\[4\]](#fn4) and Osage University Partners (OUP).[\[5\]](#fn5)
