# Tour de France

The **Tour de France** is an annual men's bicycle race held primarily in France. It is organized by Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO).

## History

In June 2023, *Reuters* reported that the 2023 Tour de France would see the return of a number of restrictions placed on riders, team staff and officials.[\[1\]](#fn1) The measures reportedly included mandatory face masks, "social distancing" and riders being locked down in their hotels.[\[2\]](#fn2)
