# The Exposé highlights Trusted News Initiative amid BBC controversy

On November 14, British news outlet *The Exposé* [published](https://expose-news.com/2025/11/14/bbc-heads-the-trusted-news-initiative/) an excellent profile of the BBC’s flagship “anti-disinformation” project, the [Trusted News Initiative](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/trusted-news-initiative/).

The final section of the article features a summary of the antitrust lawsuit filed against the TNI by a group that includes [Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/robert-f-kennedy-jr/) and [Children's Health Defense](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/childrens-health-defense/), directly citing research published by White Rose Intelligence.

[BBC doesn’t only have a global audience, it also heads the Trusted News Initiative, a global coalition of media to tackle “disinformation” - The ExposeSome may wonder how the same narrative on certain topics, such as false narratives about US President Donald Trump’s speech on 6 January 2021, reverberates across the world – from Canada to Australia. It isn’t only because the BBC has a global audience. In addition to researching and publishing the TNI’s [profile](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/trusted-news-initiative/) on the White Rose Wiki, WRI founder [Liam Sturgess](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/liam-sturgess/) took it upon himself to author the [Wikipedia page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trusted%5FNews%5FInitiative) for the TNI, which had previously been conspicuously absent.
