## History

On October 24, 2023, the *[New York Times](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/New-York-Times)* reported that the [Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Pfizer-BioNTech-COVID-19-vaccine) and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine "may be linked to a slight increase in the risk of stroke when administered along with a high-dose flu vaccine," based on a new analysis by the [Food and Drug Administration](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Food-and-Drug-Administration) (FDA).[\[2\]](#fn2)[\[3\]](#fn3)
