**Revolution LLC** is an American venture capital firm based in Washington, D.C. It is made up of several entities including Revolution Growth, Revolution Ventures and the Rise of the Rest seed fund.

## History

JD Vance joined Revolution as a partner in early 2017 to lead the company's Rise of the Rest seed fund.[\[1\]](#fn1)[\[2\]](#fn2)
