The **Progressive Turnout Project (PTP)** is an American political action committee (PAC) based in Chicago, Illinois.

## History

The Progressive Turnout Project was founded in 2015 by Harry Pascal and Ram Villivalam.[\[1\]](#fn1) PTP filed its first Statement of Organization with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on June 26, 2015.[\[2\]](#fn2)

The Progressive Turnout Project paid the [Analyst Institute](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Analyst-Institute) $4,000 on March 9, 2019 for services related to the 2020 United States presidential election.[\[3\]](#fn3)

[Thomas Matthew Crooks](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Thomas-Matthew-Crooks) donated $15 to PTP via ActBlue on January 20, 2021, the day of President [Joe Biden](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Joe-Biden)'s inauguration.[\[4\]](#fn4)

In July 2023, the PTP initiated a campaign to "ban [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Robert-F-Kennedy-Jr) from the ballot."[\[5\]](#fn5) Stop Republicans, a shell PAC of the PTP, also engaged in the campaign, as did Progressive Takeover.[\[6\]](#fn6)[\[7\]](#fn7)

## Organization

The Progressive Turnout Project collaborates with the Analyst Institute.[\[8\]](#fn8)[\[3:1\]](#fn3) PTP is a client of [Elias Law Group](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Elias-Law-Group)[\[9\]](#fn9) and [Hardpin Media](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Hardpin-Media).[\[10\]](#fn10)
