**Prime Trust** is an American financial services company based in Summerlin, Nevada.

## History

Prime Trust was founded in 2016.[\[1\]](#fn1)

In 2020, Prime Trust gave €40,930 to the [Future of Life Institute](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Future-of-Life-Institute).[\[2\]](#fn2)

### 2022 presidential election

In February and March 2022, Prime Trust gave $14 million to Protect Our Future, a super political action committee that backed Democratic candidates during the 2022 primary season.[\[3\]](#fn3)[\[4\]](#fn4) However, a spokesperson for Prime Trust clarified that the funds were actually donated on behalf of FTX executives Sam Bankman-Fried and Nishad Singh.[\[5\]](#fn5) $14 million of the funds were attributable to SBF, while $1 million was from Singh.

Similarly, Prime Trust donated $500,000 to the Democratic Party of Oregon which was subsequently revealed to have been on behalf of Singh.[\[6\]](#fn6)
