**Points of Light** is an American non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia.

## History

Points of Light Foundation was founded in 1990 by U.S. President George H.W. Bush.[\[1\]](#fn1) In 2007, the foundation merged with Hands On Network.[\[2\]](#fn2)
