**Parler** is an American social media platform based in Nashville, Tennessee.

## History

*Wired* reported on January 12, 2021, that Parler's website data was exposed due to a bug.[\[1\]](#fn1) This data was reportedly used to create an interactive map of protestors during the January 6, 2021 protest at the United States Capitol.[\[2\]](#fn2)

In September 2022, Parler announced it had reorganized under the new corporate name of Parlement Technologies, and acquired Dynascale.[\[3\]](#fn3)
