**Lytica Therapeutics** is an American biotechnology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

## History

On February 18, 2020, Lytica was awarded a $16.9 million grant from the Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X) for a project to “develop antibacterial peptides with broad activity against multidrug-resistant bacteria.”[\[1\]](#fn1)[\[2\]](#fn2)

Lytica was accepted into the Blue Knight program hosted by [Johnson & Johnson](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Johnson-&-Johnson) and the [Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Biomedical-Advanced-Research-and-Development-Authority) (BARDA) in May 2022.[\[3\]](#fn3)[\[4\]](#fn4)
