Hence** (1964-2025) was an American writer, producer and activist. He was co-founder of [9/11 CitizensWatch](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/911-CitizensWatch).[\[1\]](#fn1) He graduated from the Permaculture Research Institute (PRI).[\[2\]](#fn2) ## History Hence launched [Unanswered Questions](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Unanswered-Questions) (UQ) at a conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on June 10, 2002.[\[3\]](#fn3) Also present was [Catherine Austin Fitts](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Catherine-Austin-Fitts), Lorna Brett and Mary Schiavo.[\[4\]](#fn4) Hence co-founded the 9/11 CitizensWatch, which participated with the 9/11 Family Steering Committee in calling for the establishment of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.[\[1:1\]](#fn1)[\[5\]](#fn5) During the 2024 United States presidential election cycle, Hence worked as a writer and researcher for the [Honest Media Project](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Honest-Media-Project), a project of [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Robert-F-Kennedy-Jr)'s super PAC, [American Values 2024](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/American-Values-2024).[\[6\]](#fn6) On December 11, 2025, [Michael Kane](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Michael-Kane) of [Teachers for Choice](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Teachers-for-Choice) announced that Hence had passed away. While his cause of death was not revealed, Kane noted that Hence "had a bad heart as he had suffered at least one [heart attack](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Myocardial-infarction) in the recent past, if not more."[\[6:1\]](#fn6) Former coworker [Liam Sturgess](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Liam-Sturgess) said that Hence "was kind, creative and encouraging," and "didn't let politics distract him from the mission.
