Kyle Bass** is an American investor based in Texas. He serves on the boards of the University of Texas Investment Management Co. (UTIMCO), the Troops First Foundation and the Texas Department of Public Safety Foundation.[\[1\]](#fn1) He is an advisor for the Center for Asset Management at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR),[\[2\]](#fn2) and of the Committee on the Present Danger: China.[\[3\]](#fn3) ## History Bass graduated from the Texas Christian University.
