# Innovative Medicines Canada

**Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC)** is a Canadian pharmaceutical industry association based in Ottawa, Ontario. It is affiliated with the Health Research Foundation (HRF).[\[1\]](#fn1)

## History

IMC participated as a partner in the [This Is Our Shot](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/This-Is-Our-Shot) mass advertising campaign for [COVID-19 vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine).[\[2\]](#fn2)

IMC purchased advertising space with the [Canadian Broadcasting Corporation](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Canadian-Broadcasting-Corporation) (CBC) in 2020-2022.[\[3\]](#fn3)

## Organization

IMC is represented on the board of directors for the Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board (PAAB) by Crawford Wright.[\[4\]](#fn4) It is also partnered with the Best Medicines Coalition[\[5\]](#fn5) and is a paying member of [Ad Standards](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Ad-Standards).[\[6\]](#fn6) It is also a member of the [Business Council of British Columbia](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Business-Council-of-British-Columbia) (BCBC).[\[7\]](#fn7)
