# Indivisible

**Indivisible** is an American political organization based in Washington, D.C. It is primarly made up of three distinct organizations: **Indivisible Action**, **Indivisible Civics** and the **Indivisible Project**.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## History

On December 11, 2016, a document titled "Indivisible: A Practical Guide to Resisting the Trump Agenda" was published and distributed on Google Docs.[\[2\]](#fn2) The authors included Angel Padilla, Billy Fleming, Caroline Kavit, Ezra Levin, Indivar Dutta-Gupta, Jennay Ghowrwal, Jeremy Haile, Leah Greenberg, Matt Traldi, Sara Clough and Sarah Dohl.[\[3\]](#fn3)

In June 2021, Indivisible launched a "fact-checking" project called the "Truth Brigade."[\[4\]](#fn4)

On September 5, 2023, Indivisible Action endorsed [Joe Biden](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Joe-Biden) in his 2024 presidential re-election bid.[\[5\]](#fn5)
