Its purpose is to promote widespread vaccination in Canada.[\[1\]](#fn1) ## History In 2016, the [Government of Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Government-of-Canada) announced $25 million in funding "to increase and maintain vaccination coverage in Canada," resulting in the creation of the Immunization Partnership Fund.
