The **Immunization Partnership Fund** is a Canadian federal government funding program run by the [Public Health Agency of Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Public-Health-Agency-of-Canada) (PHAC). Its purpose is to promote widespread vaccination in Canada.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## History

In 2016, the [Government of Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Government-of-Canada) announced $25 million in funding "to increase and maintain vaccination coverage in Canada," resulting in the creation of the Immunization Partnership Fund. Following the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government injected an additional $54 million to mass promote [COVID-19 vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine).[\[1:1\]](#fn1)

In October 2022, the Immunization Partnership Fund hosted a "Community of Practice" discussion "regarding the drivers of COVID-19 fatigue and burnout, and the best practices for alleviating exhaustion, while continuing to promote COVID-19 vaccines." 75 individuals participated on behalf of 49 different recipient organizations.[\[2\]](#fn2)
