**Icosavax** is an American biotechnology company based in Seattle, Washington.

## History

Icosavax was founded in 2017 to advance virus-like particle (VLP) technology from the Institute for Protein Design at the University of Washington with the goal to discover, develop, and commercialize vaccines against infectious diseases.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## Activities

Icosavax is developing products for SARS-CoV-2, RSV and human metapneumovirus (hMPV).
