# Harm Reduction Action Center

The **Harm Reduction Action Center (HRAC)** is an American non-profit public health organization based in Denver, Colorado.

It "aims to keep people free from HIV and hepatitis C and works specifically with people who inject drugs."[\[1\]](#fn1)

## History

HRAC began operations in 2002.[\[1:1\]](#fn1)

## Organization

HRAC receives operational and fundraising support from the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC), which lists HRAC as a partner on its website.[\[2\]](#fn2)[\[3\]](#fn3) HRAC is also partnered with Solidarity Partners.[\[4\]](#fn4)

### Funding

HRAC has received funding from the Chinook Fund.[\[5\]](#fn5)
