# Global Health Council

The **Global Health Council (GHC)** is an American non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. representing the global health industry.

## History

On May 15, 2018, the Global Health Council co-hosted [Clade X](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Clade-X), a pandemic preparedness exercise, at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Washington, D.C. alongside the [Nuclear Threat Initiative](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Nuclear-Threat-Initiative) (NTI) and Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH).[\[1\]](#fn1)

## Organization

GHC is a member organization of the Bay Area Global Health Alliance,[\[2\]](#fn2) Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH),[\[3\]](#fn3) the CORE Group,[\[4\]](#fn4) the Global Health Security Agenda Consortium[\[5\]](#fn5) and the Washington Global Health Alliance.[\[6\]](#fn6) It is also a partner of the RBM Partnership to End Malaria[\[7\]](#fn7) and [UHC2030](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/UHC2030).[\[8\]](#fn8)
