# GC Strategies

**GC Strategies** is a Canadian information technology contractor based in Ottawa, Ontario.

## History

GC Strategies was founded in 2015.[\[1\]](#fn1)

GC Strategies was hired by the [Government of Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Government-of-Canada) to assist in the planning of the country's 5G rollout.[\[2\]](#fn2)

### COVID-19

GC Strategies was hired by the Canadian Digital Service to develop the COVID Alert app.[\[3\]](#fn3) The firm was also tapped through pre-existing contracts with the Government of Canada to develop the [ArriveCAN](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/ArriveCAN) app with the [Canada Border Services Agency](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Canada-Border-Services-Agency) (CBSA), [Health Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Health-Canada) and the [Public Health Agency of Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Public-Health-Agency-of-Canada) (PHAC).[\[4\]](#fn4)

On March 25, 2021, GC Strategies announced a partnership with Level Access.[\[1:1\]](#fn1)
