# Foundation for National Progress

The **Foundation for National Progress** is an American non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California. It is the publisher of *[Mother Jones](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Mother-Jones)* magazine.

## History

The Foundation for National Progress was incorporated on March 5, 1975 in the State of California.[\[1\]](#fn1)
