# Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics

The **Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND)** is an international non-governmental organization based in Geneva, Switzerland.

## History

On April 24, 2020, FIND co-hosted an event to launch the [Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Access-to-COVID-19-Tools-Accelerator) (ACT-Accelerator), an initiative to raise financial support for accelerated research and development, production, and access to COVID-19 tests, therapies, and [vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine).[\[1\]](#fn1)

FIND co-designed the [Global Pandemic Preparedness Summit 2024](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Global-Pandemic-Preparedness-Summit-2024), which took place on July 29-30, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.[\[2\]](#fn2)

## Organization

FIND is part of the Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X) network.[\[3\]](#fn3)
