# Elbi

**Elbi** is an online application functioning as a philanthropic social network based in London, England. It was founded in 2013 by Natalia Vodianova and Timon Afinsky.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## Organization

At launch, Elbi was backing by Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, *Huffington Post* co-founder Arianna Huffington and Bebo co-founder Michael Birch.[\[1:1\]](#fn1)
