# Doug Ford

**Douglas Robert Ford Jr.** is a Canadian politician and businessman serving as the Premier of the [Province of Ontario](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Government-of-Ontario). He is the owner of Deco Labels, a printing company that sold stickers and labels related to the declared COVID-19 pandemic.[\[1\]](#fn1)[\[2\]](#fn2)[\[3\]](#fn3)

## History

Ford gave Prime Minister [Justin Trudeau](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Justin-Trudeau) his approval to invoke the *Emergencies Act* in response to the Freedom Convoy 2022 protests in Ottawa and Windsor, Ontario.[\[4\]](#fn4)
