# Dennis Kucinich

**Dennis John Kucinich** is an American politician in the Democratic Party. He recently served as the campaign manager for [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Robert-F-Kennedy-Jr)'s 2024 run for President of the United States.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## History

On April 17, 2007, Kucinich sent a letter to his Democratic colleagues saying that he planned to impeach then-Vice President Dick Cheney. He formally introduced articles of impeachment against the VP on April 24.[\[2\]](#fn2)

Kucinich argued in favour of impeaching President Barack Obama following his approval of air strikes in Libya.[\[3\]](#fn3)

### COVID-19

On May 18, 2023, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he had selected Kucinich to act as chair of his 2024 presidential campaign.[\[1:1\]](#fn1)

Kucinich participated as a featured presenter at the [Independent National Convention 2024](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Independent-National-Convention-2024) in September 2024.[\[4\]](#fn4)
