**COVID Collateral** is a Canadian documentary film released in 2024 produced by Matter of Fact Media and Coronavan Productions.[\[1\]](#fn1) It was produced under the working title *Coronamania: Locked Down and Divided*.[\[2\]](#fn2)

## History

The *National Post* published a review of *COVID Collateral* on June 17, 2024, authored by Jamie Sarkonak.[\[3\]](#fn3)

The Cato Institute hosted a screening of the film on July 23, 2024, in Washington, D.C. A panel discussion took place after the screening featuring Jay Bhattacharya, Robert Redfield, and Ryan Bourne, moderated by Jeff Singer.[\[4\]](#fn4)

Beginning in September 2024, Matter of Fact Media attempted to launch five separate advertising campaigns on Google and YouTube, the majority of which were allegedly rejected due to "Unreliable claims," "Shocking Content," "Clickbait," and "Election advertising in the United States." The film's producer, Vanessa Dylyn, described this as "targeted censorship" by Google, following the company's September 2025 admission that "they had censored lawful content about COVID-19 under pressure from the Biden administration."[\[5\]](#fn5)
