# COVID-19 Canada Open Data Working Group

The **COVID-19 Canada Open Data Working Group (CCODWG)** is a Canadian research group hosted by the University of Toronto and the University of Guelph. It is funded by the [Public Health Agency of Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Public-Health-Agency-of-Canada) (PHAC), and conducts digital surveillance of COVID-19 cases in Canada to curate a publicly available line list and public-facing data dashboard.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## History

Isha Berry co-founded the COVID-19 Canada Open Data Working Group in March 2020 with Jean-Paul Soucy.[\[2\]](#fn2)[\[3\]](#fn3)
