# Christopher Shaw

**Christopher A. Shaw** is a Canadian neuroscientist and researcher at the University of British Columbia, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is co-chair of the [Canadian Citizens Care Alliance](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Canadian-Covid-Care-Alliance)'s Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee.[\[1\]](#fn1)

## COVID-19

On January 5, 2021, Dr. Shaw published an article titled “The Age of COVID-19: Fear, Loathing, and the 'New Normal.'” It discussed the history of the declared COVID-19 pandemic and how the narrative was shaped.[\[2\]](#fn2) The article was based on an excerpt from his then-forthcoming book, *[Dispatches from the Vaccine Wars](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Dispatches-from-the-Vaccine-Wars)*, published August 31, 2021 by [Skyhorse Publishing](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Skyhorse-Publishing).[\[3\]](#fn3)

He also prepared a response to and a critique of [Health Canada](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Health-Canada)'s approval of various [COVID-19 vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine) including those by Covaxin, Medicago, [Moderna](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Moderna), and [Novavax](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Novavax).[\[4\]](#fn4)

Along with Steven Pelech, Shaw edited two books for the Canadian Citizens Care Alliance (CCCA). The first, *[Down the COVID-19 Rabbit Hole](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Down-the-COVID-19-Rabbit-Hole)*, was published by [Children's Health Defense](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Childrens-Health-Defense) (CHD) and Skyhorse Publishing on November 19, 2024.[\[5\]](#fn5)[\[6\]](#fn6) The second, *COVID-19 Pandemonium*, was published in January 2025 by Ekstasis Editions.[\[7\]](#fn7)
