**Charles River Ventures (CRV)** is an American venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California.

## History

In February 2014, CRV invested $4.6 million in [Cybereason](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Cybereason), an Israeli cybersecurity company.[\[1\]](#fn1)

In May 2015, CRV participated in a $25 million Series B funding round for Cybereason with fellow investors Spark Capital and Lockheed Martin.[\[2\]](#fn2)
