# Center for an Informed Public

The **Center for an Informed Public** is an American interdisciplinary think tank in Seattle, Washington. It is based out of the University of Washington, and is a collaborator in the [Election Integrity Partnership](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Election-Integrity-Partnership) (EIP)[\[1\]](#fn1) and the [Virality Project](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Virality-Project).[\[2\]](#fn2)

## History

In March 2021, the center co-published a report related to the 2020 United States presidential election as part of the EIP.[\[1:1\]](#fn1) The center also collaborated on a Virality Project report about alleged "misinformation" about [COVID-19 vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine) published April 26, 2022.[\[2:1\]](#fn2)

## Organization

The center is a collaboration between Human Centered Design & Engineering, the University of Washington Information School and the University of Washington School of Law.[\[3\]](#fn3)
