# Bret Weinstein

**Bret Samuel Weinstein** is an American evolutionary biologist and podcaster. Along with his brother Eric Weinstein, he is considered part of the so-called "intellectual dark web."[\[1\]](#fn1) He is married to Heather Heying, with whom he co-hosts the DarkHorse Podcast.[\[2\]](#fn2)

## COVID-19

In June 2021, Weinstein hosted [Steve Kirsch](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Steve-Kirsch) and [Robert Malone](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Robert-Malone) on his podcast, discussing COVID-19 and mRNA vaccines.[\[3\]](#fn3)
