**BioVeda China Fund (BVCF)** is a Chinese investment firm based in Beijing, China.

## History

BVCF was founded by Zhi Yang in 2005 as China's first US dollar-based fund focused on life sciences and healthcare.[\[1\]](#fn1)

### COVID-19

In July 2019, BVCF participated in [BioNTech](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/BioNTech)'s $325 million Series B investment round.[\[2\]](#fn2)[\[3\]](#fn3)
