Inder Verma served as founding editor-in-chief.[\[1\]](#fn1) ### COVID-19 On November 17, 2020, ASGCT published an article titled "COVID-19 Vaccine Candidates Show Gene Therapy is a Viable Strategy," declaring that "findings from [Moderna](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Moderna) and [Pfizer](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Pfizer) demonstrate that gene therapy is a viable strategy for developing vaccines to combat COVID-19."[\[2\]](#fn2) On December 30, 2020, ASGCT uploaded a video to YouTube titled "mRNA vaccines for COVID-19."
