# American College of Emergency Physicians

The **American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)** is an American professional association based in Irving, Texas.

## History

ACEP participated in the [COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Equity Project](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Champions-for-Vaccine-Education-Equity-and-Progress) during the declared COVID-19 pandemic.[\[1\]](#fn1)

In the first quarter of 2021, ACEP received an $8,000 grant from [Pfizer](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Pfizer) for a “Vaccine Confidence PSA.”[\[2\]](#fn2) On March 19, 2021, ACEP published a joint statement in support of [COVID-19 vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine) alongside the American College of Medical Toxicology and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.[\[3\]](#fn3)

ACEP is partnered with the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID).[\[4\]](#fn4)
