**Alethea Group** is an American information technology company offering services in combatting "misinformation" and "disinformation."

## History

Alethea was founded in 2019 by Lisa Kaplan.[\[1\]](#fn1) Nina Jankowicz joined the company as Director of External Engagement in September 2021.[\[1:1\]](#fn1)
