The **Alberta Medical Association (AMA)** is a Canadian professional membership organization with offices in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta.

## COVID-19

AMA notes that doctors can bill for time spent trying to convince their “vaccine hesitant” patients to accept a [COVID-19 vaccine](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/COVID-19-vaccine).[\[1\]](#fn1) The organization offers a number of tips, tricks and “tools” to do this. One such resource is the [Vaccine Hesitancy Guide](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Vaccine-Hesitancy-Guide), a website purpose-built by a number of official organizations such as the Alberta College of Family Physicians and Doctors Manitoba.[\[2\]](#fn2)

AMA is partnered with [19 to Zero](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/19-to-Zero)[\[3\]](#fn3) and part of the Canadian College of Health Leaders' extended network.[\[4\]](#fn4)
