**Albert Benavides** is an American data analyst based in Silicon Valley, California. He publishes videos under the screen name **Welcometheeagle88** in which he discusses data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).[\[1\]](#fn1)

## COVID-19

Benavides began collaborating with [Steve Kirsch](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Steve-Kirsch) in mid-2021.[\[2\]](#fn2)

Benavides has corroborated reports of the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Centers-for-Disease-Control-and-Prevention) (CDC) deleting VAERS entries, as well as alleging that the data is being manipulated by “throttling” the release to delay disclosure.[\[3\]](#fn3)
